DescriptionThe Center, part of the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, has a Senior International Fellows Program that provides a professional development opportunity for grantmakers and other community philanthropy practitioners who are decision-makers in their professions. The program is designed to help strengthen third-sector capacity in countries outside of the United States. (Senior-level, third-sector practitioners in the U.S. are also welcome to apply to participate on a tuition basis or with support from international sponsors). The Program’s focus is on community foundations within the context of the global philanthropic sector. Full fellowship awards cover the costs of tuition, furnished accommodations in Manhattan, local transportation and reimbursement for selected program-related costs. The Program will run from Monday, April 8, 2013 through Friday, May 3, 2013. Individuals living in the U.S. can apply until the deadline date. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
