DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the power Company. Its mission, through the charitable investments it makes, is to support the growth and vitality of the Company’s communities in southeastern Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming. Grants are awarded in the categories of education, civic and community betterment, culture and arts, health and welfare, and social services. Education grants fund K-12 and higher education, literacy, and scholarship funds. Civic and community grants support projects on the environment, justice and law, housing, and urban renewal. Culture and arts grants support the performing arts, museums, heritage foundations, and libraries. Health, welfare, and social services grants fund United Way campaigns, hospitals, and agencies for youth. Requests are reviewed quarterly. Application deadlines vary by grant category. The December deadline is for health, welfare, and social services grants. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
