DescriptionThe Foundation supports nonprofits that benefit vulnerable communities throughout Louisiana. Grants are awarded in two areas: Economic Opportunity and Public Policy and Advocacy. Economic opportunity grants support the creation of affordable housing, investment in small business and local economies, and wealth building opportunities for Louisiana citizens. Public policy and advocacy grants support advocates working to increase affordable housing, build community wealth, expand economic opportunity, and empower underserved communities to influence policy at the local, state, and federal levels. Letters of inquiry may be submitted at any time. The Foundation’s board meets four times a year to consider proposals. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
