Description

The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on nonprofits in the states of Oregon and Washington that are working to end companion animal cruelty and neglect. Grants are awarded to nonprofits with effective plans to reduce animal suffering through targeted spray-neuter programs to address companion animal overpopulation. The Foundation may also award up to two or three “strategic” grants each year. These partners must be willing to invest time and energy in measuring their project’s success. Strategic grant awards can be up to $25,000In general, the Foundation works with smaller organizations that offer solutions to these important problems. However, the Foundation is not currently providing funds for start-up organizations or new capital projects. Letters of inquiry may be submitted at any time.
