Fund For Wild Nature

DescriptionThe Fund believes that health ecosystems are too essential to be sacrificed. It targets its grantmaking on grassroots organizations in the United States and Canada for campaigns to save native species and wild ecosystems, with particular emphasis on actions to defend threatened wilderness and biological diversity. Priority is given to ecological issues not receiving adequate national attention. The Fund awards grants for advocacy, litigation, public policy work, development of citizen science, and similar endeavors. Rarely funded are proposals from organizations with annual budgets greater than $250,000. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
