Description

The Company’s Toolbox for Education program provides grants of up to $5,000 to support school improvement projects at K-12 public schools in the United States. For the 2012-2013 school year, the Foundation will prioritize its grantmaking on basic necessities. Preference will be given for funding requests that have a permanent impact such as facility enhancement (both indoor and outdoor), as well as landscaping/cleanup projects. Projects that encourage parental involvement and build stronger community spirit are encouraged. Any individual U.S. public K-12 school or nonprofit parent group associated with a public K-12 school is eligible to apply. Preschools are not eligible. While the deadline for submitting online applications for the fall grant cycle is Oct. 12, 2012, if 1,500 or more applications are received before the deadline, the application process will close. Additional information, including an online application, can be found on the Web site.
