National Credit Union Administration
Category: Business & Finance
DescriptionThe Organization’s Community Development Revolving Loan Fund and the Technical Assistance grant program serves to make loans and technical assistance grants to low-income designated credit unions. A low-income designated credit union is one that is: 1) federally chartered and designated as a “low income” credit union; or 2) state-chartered with an equivalent low-income designation from its respective state supervisory authority and concurrence from the Organization. The programs serve as a source of funding to help low-income credit unions respond to emergencies arising in their communities. These funds also help improve and expand the availability of financial services to low-income members. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
