DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of PacificSource Health Plans Company, a health insurer located in Oregon. The Foundation seeks to provide resources and funds for the health and welfare of the underserved and to lessen the burden on government. Grants are awarded for programs and projects that address the healthcare needs of children and youth in communities that the Company serves in Idaho and Oregon. The Foundation also looks to develop and implement strategies for assisting the uninsured and underinsured, particularly children and youth. Eligible applicants include school-based health centers, community-sponsored clinics and health centers, rural health clinics, behavioral and oral health programs, and local health departments.
