The Wick Kenney Fund

Description

The Fund, a component of the Kenney Brothers Foundation, provides support to nonprofits that work to protect and restore watersheds in the western United States. Basically, the Fund is interested in keeping western rivers flowing with ample volumes of clean water. The Fund makes discretionary grants that provide a real opportunity to change western water policy on a local, state, or national level. In addition, the Fund seeks to defend environmental laws critical for the protection of all western rivers; focus on a specific strategy for protection of a biologically important western watershed; and research and analyze issues that affect western water. Groups located roughly west of the 100th meridian and interested in applying for a discretionary grant may do so by sending an e-mail to jay@kenneybrosfdn.org with Discretionary Grant Inquiry in the subject line. Additional information including the history of the organization and the Kenney Brothers Foundation can be found on the Web site.
