Description

The Foundation focuses 85 percent of its grantmaking on conservation of natural resources in North American and the Caribbean Basin. Priority is given to marine resource conservation and management with a particular interest in fisheries. Grants also support the ecosystems of South Florida and environmental issues in Alabama. The Foundation awards grants to pre-selected environmental organizations in Washington, D.C., and population and environmental initiatives nationwide. Most of the South Florida and Alabama grants are site specific and require a 1:1 match. Letters of inquiry are required. E-mail inquires are encouraged but do not send duplicate hard copies.
