DescriptionThe Foundation’s philanthropic priority is to provide other nonprofits with the means to educate the public about the needs of children across the nation. Established in 1954, the Foundation was developed as repository of funds from individuals who wished to contribute to the betterment of U.S. children. Grants are awarded to organizations that contribute to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual welfare of children by their dissemination of information about new and innovative programs designed to benefit youth. Grants are also awarded for the dissemination of knowledge already possessed by well-established organizations so that society can more adequately use the information. Applications are accepted between May 1 and July 15 each year. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
