Fordham Street Foundation

Category: Regional

The Foundation seeks to close the gap in academic achievement between advantaged and disadvantaged youth. The Foundation seeks to fund effective nonprofits committed to giving all children access to innovative teaching strategies and experiences that led to improved academic performance and personal success. Priority is given to programs and organizations that use innovative teaching strategies and experiences to improve learning and provide a foundation of core competencies and critical life skills that will help today’s youth realize their full potential. The Foundation will support innovative programs that target minority achievement, focusing its efforts on human or direct services. Organizations in the Pacific Northwest, with an emphasis on Washington, are eligible to apply. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
