American Psychological Foundation

Category

: Education

Description

The Foundation’s pre-college program supports high quality education in psychology with the intent to nurture the next generation of psychologists. Priority is given to programs that reinforce the discipline of psychology as a science in secondary school curriculum and expand the profile of psychology as a science to attract talented high school students to pursue the discipline. Also of interest are programs that teach students about career options that apply psychology outside of an academic setting and convey to high school students that psychological science is a tool to improve society. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
