DescriptionThe Foundation provides support to nonprofits that foster economic self-sufficiency in the communities where the Bank operates in Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, and Washington. Priority is given to programs and projects that address financial education, workforce development, and diversity. Financial education grants foster effective financial management and understanding of financial services and tools. Workforce development grants provide training and placement for people to access job opportunities. Diversity grants promote inclusive environments by employing systemic changes to improve the access of individuals of diverse backgrounds.
