The Skylark Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation is committed to encouraging innovation, striving for social justice, and supporting diversity. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on organizations or projects that translate the values into strategically designed and executed activities. The Foundation supports artists in residence programs, services for the elderly and for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender youth in Los Angeles. Funding is awarded for animal protection, solar energy, and water conservation projects in Northern New Mexico. The Foundation also awards grants for programs that offer services to people in crisis and underprivileged children in North Carolina. Organizations in Los Angeles, North Carolina, and Northern New Mexico are eligible to apply. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
