Description

The Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for people and families affected by autism spectrum disorder. It is dedicated to increasing the awareness of autism and the unique challenges of families who are faced with it everyday. Priorities include assisting financially disadvantaged families who need assistance in caring for their children with autism spectrum disorder (through nonprofit autism organizations); fund education and advocacy for individuals with autism; and support therapeutic, recreational, and social skills programs. The Foundation funds applicants located in Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Southern California (including San Diego County, Los Angeles County, and Orange County), and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. In addition, the Foundation also supports national educational and advocacy programs. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
