Description

The Foundation, which was formed by a merger of the JM Long Foundation and the Vera M. Long Foundation, supports qualified nonprofits involved with conservation, education, and healthcare in the communities of Northern California and Hawaii. The Foundation has a special interest in programs that benefit women, families, and seniors or contribute to the conservation of the natural environment. Preference is given to new, innovative projects that will be completed with the Foundation’s contribution. The Foundation accepts a request for an invitation only during an “open period.” Updates on the RFIs and the open period will be posted on the Foundation’s Web site.
