DescriptionThe Foundation supports programs, institutions, and organizations that encourage the development of individuals to better equip themselves in becoming citizens of the world. The Foundation defines global citizen as understanding that one doesn’t exist in isolation, but instead is a player on a large stage; that families, communities, and environs are significant; and that the locality and the culture and institutions are important and linked to a regional and global reality. The Foundation’s primary objective is supporting activity in the Uttarakhand-Himalaya area of Northern India, especially assisting educational programs and projects, and primary and secondary schools.
