Description

The Foundation, funded by TV game show host, Bob Barker, seeks to fund low-cost or free spay/neuter clinics and subsidize voucher programs across the United States with the goal of helping to relieve the overpopulation of companion dogs. The Foundation awards two types of grants: Spay/Neuter Clinic grants and Spay/Neuter Assistance Program grants. Clinic grants are awarded to organizations that operate low-cost or free spray/neuter clinics (including mobile clinics) or are planning to open one. Assistance grants are provided to organizations with established or evolving public outreach programs to spay/neuter dogs that belong to people in need of financial assistance. Companion dogs are those already owned by someone. Grants are not intended to underwrite the neutering of dogs housed in shelters whether they’re adoption, foster, rescue, or sanctuary type facilities. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
