Description

The Company’s mission is to enhance the well being of the communities it serves. It awards monetary funding, sponsorships, and cruise donations to organizations that benefit and offer services to the entire community. It focuses its grantmaking on three areas: children and families, education, and marine conservation. Children and family grants support the underserved in the communities and grants are not awarded for health-related causes. Education grants are awarded to benefit as large a student group as possible, such as an entire school district, city, state, or nation. Marine conservation grants are awarded to programs committed to promoting sound environment practices in the marine world or enhancing environmental education programs in schools and communities. The Company concentrates the majority of its grantmaking on the port communities where it sails, especially Florida, the Caribbean, New York/New Jersey, California, Baltimore, Texas, and Alaska. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
