High Meadows Fund

DescriptionThe Fund promotes a healthy natural environment while encouraging long-term economic vitality in the state of Vermont. Its grantmaking supports leadership and innovation in three areas: reduction of reliance on fossil fuels by encouraging energy efficiency and renewable energy; improvement of the sustainability and viability of agricultural enterprise and food security and affordability; and the encouragement of vibrant compact settlements surrounded by working farms and forests. Preference is given to initiatives where the three topic areas overlap. The Foundation requests that letters of inquiry, no longer than 650 words, be sent via e-mail to Gaye Symington (gsymington@vermontcf.org) or Ruthie Schwab (rschwab@vermontcf.org).
