Newman’s Own Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation was created by the late Paul Newman from sales of his homemade food products. The Foundation’s Awards Program partners with Fisher House Foundation, and Military Times Media Group to recognize volunteer and nonprofits supporting our nation’s military families. Eligible organizations must be comprised primarily of volunteers and improve the quality of life for the families of Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve units and/or veterans. The submission judged to be the most outstanding will receive a $15,000 grant. An additional $60,000 will be apportioned to competing organizations. Programs will be evaluated based on program description, relevance of problem, originality, anticipated benefits, resources, and community/command/volunteer support. The Fisher House Foundation is the grant administrator. An online application and other information can be found on the Web site.
