The Gladys Brooks Foundation




The Foundation supports the intellectual, moral, and physical welfare of people by establishing and supporting nonprofit libraries, educational institutions, hospitals, and clinics. Grants are awarded to organizations located Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Vermont. Priority is given to applicants who do not have access to outside funding (including government funding); for projects where the grant will cover the largest amount of cost; and for capital projects including equipment or endowments. Applicants must request an application form from the Foundation. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
