DescriptionThe Foundation’s Angel Awards honor volunteers who perform extraordinary work for Louisiana’s at-risk children. The Angel Award increases awareness of children’s needs throughout the state and provides much-needed resources to help address them. Every year the Award recognizes eight outstanding volunteers with a $20,000 grant to each honoree’s nonprofit charity. The program has honored a total of more than 1,000 nominees, finalists, and winners from all walks of life. Nominations for the award will be accepted until May 13, 2011.
