Description

The Foundation, named for the French phrase, “M’aidez” meaning “I need help,” is dedicated to alleviating the incidence, degree, and consequence of human physical pain. It has four funding interests. Grants are awarded to projects that result in clinical interventions to reduce the toll of physical pain; pediatric pain; pain in non-verbal populations; and pain in the context of emergency medicine. The Foundation will also continue its activity in promoting networking between veterinary and human medicine, especially in an effort to inform measurements of pain in non-verbal populations. Grants are made to organizations in the United States and Canada. There are no deadlines. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
