Named for the New York Islanders’ and Buffalo Sabres’ hockey player, Clark Gillies, the Foundation focuses its grantmaking on projects designed to help children who are physically and/or financially handicapped. The Foundation’s mission is to help children improve the quality of their lives and encourage participation in sports as a way of advancing in life. There are no deadlines and applications are accepted at any time. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
