Description

The Foundation funds cultural projects in the arts and humanities, education at all levels, health care, programs related to homelessness and underserved populations as well as a wide range of human services. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on organizations located in Los Angeles County. Types of grants awarded include construction and renovation funds, money for equipment and furnishings, technology and infrastructure, property acquisition, transportation vehicles, and software, books, and supplies. Requests for capital support are considered once there is clear evidence that the campaign’s goal will be met and accomplished in a reasonable time period. Prospective applicants are asked to submit a letter of inquiry to start the process. The Foundation will not accept letters of inquiry or requests either by fax or e-mail.
