Description

In December, 1994, Dale and Edna Walsh set up a private, charitable Foundation named after them. Since then, the Foundation’s name has morphed to the DEW Foundation. The Foundation supports medical, relief, welfare, education, community service, ministries, environmental programs, and arts organizations. Priority is given to organizations with vision and mission. The Foundation does not contribute funds to normal church operations, culturally liberal activist causes or to organizations that primarily seek to influence legislation or government spending. Top priority is given to charities and causes in which members of the immediate or extended family have hands-on involvement or a desire to be involved. The Foundation is guided by Christian teachings in deciding right and wrong, good and better, but is not limited to support only religiously based organizations. Funded organizations must be located in the continental United States but may serve populations across the globe. Letters of Inquiry are accepted before September 1. Additional details and information can be found on the Web site.
