Description

The Foundation honors an accomplished teacher, artists, and musician who was the first in her family to attend college in the 1920s. Throughout her life, Fox inspired a love of learning, self-expression, and compassion within her family and community. The Foundation’s mission is to maximize the potential of children and youth, with the greater family vision that all children may have the strong and effective learning environments they need to encourage their talent, creativity, and excellence independent of their families’ income or economic status. Programs in the STEM disciplines, (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) are another of the Foundation’s funding interests. The Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organizations serving children and youth in Santa Clara and Los Angeles counties only. For those who are new applicants to the Foundation, you must complete an electronic letter of introduction form found on the Web site.
