Description

The Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of youth in the areas of athletics, culture, and education, as well as protecting and preserving wildlife and habitat. Culture programs include those in underserved areas; active participation of youth in music, art, dance, and literature; ticket sponsorship to expand youth access to performances; and projects that celebrate the heritage and cultural diversity of a community. The Foundation’s current focus is on rural areas and programs that promote active youth participation. Athletic programs receiving support include sports programs, facilities, and equipment for both boys and girls where the youth population is underserved; after-school and off-hours sports programs; and the development of more and better coaches. Educational programs should support the active engagement of students in learning; offer innovations that supplement and enhance classroom teaching; developing and testing programs that can become models; and efforts in rural school districts and small schools. Organizations in Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington are eligible. Only applications completed online are accepted.
