Description

The Foundation’s primary interest is the quality of life, which it strives to address with honesty, compassion, and responsibility. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on environmental sustainability, natural resource preservation, land and water conservation, and efforts to establish a sustainable population. National grants support organizations that acknowledge the impact of human population growth on the environment. It supports efforts to significantly reduce immigration levels in the U.S. recognizing that population growth in America is fueled primarily by mass immigration. Regional grants are awarded to organizations that are committed to ensuring quality of life and environmental sustainability in southwestern Pennsylvania. The Foundation favors programs that aggressively address watershed remediation, natural resource preservation, clean air and improved water quality, and farmland and wildlife habitat conservation. Local grants are directed to programs that enhance Pittsburgh’s viability and livability. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
