Dr. Scholl Foundation

Description

The Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Dr. Scholl foot care Company, is dedicated to providing financial assistance to organizations committed to improving the world. Applications are considered in the following areas: institutions of private education from elementary school through college and university level; programs for children, the developmentally disabled, and senior citizens; institutions of civic and cultural service, health care, and hospitals; and religious institutions and programs that encourage environmental sustainability. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on Illinois organizations, but has a history of providing funds for organizations based in New York, Massachusetts, Montana, Connecticut, Arizona, South Dakota, Wyoming, Texas, California, England, and Canada. The application form can be submitted between November 1 and March 1. All grant requests must be made in writing. Telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be accepted.
