DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the corporate retailer of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Winners, and HomeGoods. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on needy families and children. It also supports services in communities where the companies do business. Funding interests are those that promote sound mental and physical health, provide shelter, enhance education and job readiness, and build community ties. Organizations that help children and families, aid education, assist the disadvantaged, and support battered women and families are given preference.
