Description

The Foundation focuses its grantmaking in the areas of human services, education, the arts, and health. It’s dedicated to the support of programs, which offer significant potential for individual development and community improvement. Priority for program grants is given to organizations requesting funds for service extension or the implementation of new services. Projects should make a difference in the lives of people served by dealing effectively with known problems or opportunities. Organizational development grants support board and staff development, planning initiatives, technical assistance, technology enhancements, and capital projects. Capital grants support buildings and major items of equipment. The Foundation also awards short-term operating grants. Grants are awarded to organizations in Wichita Falls, Texas area, which includes several counties in Oklahoma. The preliminary application can be found online.
