Description

The Foundation seeks to discern where the Holy Spirit is calling it to work, particularly in places marked by significant social and spiritual challenges. It focuses its grantmaking solely on Christian ministries in the developing world. Topics of interest include holistic ministry, leadership development, and reaching the less and least reached. Holistic ministry grants assist the urban poor, encourage medical and community health ministries, and enable rural development. Leadership development is targeted toward training mid-career leaders, grassroots pastors, and lay leaders as well as supporting evangelical seminaries. The Foundation’s objective is to reach the unreached through evangelism and church planting among unreached peoples. The Foundation looks for granting opportunities that integrate head and heart dynamics. Letters of inquiry are requested. The board meets three times a year, in February, June, and October. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
