DescriptionThe Fund is a nonpartisan American public policy and grantmaking institution dedicated to promoting greater cooperation and understanding between the United States and Europe. The Fund supports a wide range of institutions and individuals working on transatlantic policy issues. It also supports a number of initiatives to strengthen democracies. The Fund awards grants primarily through six major grantmaking programs: the Balkan Trust for Democracy, the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, Economics, Germany-related, Immigration, and Strategic. The Immigration, Germany-related, and Strategic programs are by invitation only. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
