Description

The Company’s corporate contributions program supports nonprofits in local Walgreens communities throughout the United States. Stores are located in 49 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. The Company focuses its grantmaking on the following areas: access to health and wellness in the community, pharmacy education programs and mentoring initiatives, civic and community outreach, and disaster relief. The largest share of the funds is earmarked for programs that address the health needs of community residents. Contributions to faith-based organizations should enhance services to the larger community in which an organization operates and must not be used for inherently religious purposes or to serve a limited constituency. Online applications and additional information can be found on the Web site.
