Description

The Foundations are three foundations founded by three siblings who grew up in Rhode Island. Their focus is to fund nonprofits in Rhode Island that will have the greatest impact on the broadest possible segment of the population. Another important goal of the Foundations is to provide “hands-on” equipment and facilities for those being served by the nonprofits. Funding areas of interest include: youth/fitness, hospitals/health care, open space/conservation/environment, education, libraries, social services, historic preservation, cultural/artistic, and animal humane societies. Applications from public elementary and secondary schools and independent schools are accepted by invitation only. Applications are only accepted between March 1 and April 30.
