Description

The Company’s charitable giving is focused on supporting organizations whose shared goal is to improve the lives of individuals from all walks of life. Its community outreach is aimed at three priorities: meeting basic needs, supporting community vitality, and volunteer-driven causes. Meeting basic needs grants support programs and services that help at-risk populations stabilize their lives and become more self-sufficient. Consideration will be given to projects that address food, shelter, and self-sufficiency. Supporting community vitality grants help programs and services that build strong communities by creating economic vitality and cultural enrichment. Grants are awarded for community development, cultural enrichment, civic leadership disaster response and recovery, and environmental awareness programs. Grants in the volunteer-driven causes category are intended to recognize the many nonprofits that serve Company communities and have captured the interest of the employees. The Company prefers to direct its funding toward specific projects that can demonstrate innovative approaches with measurable results or capacity building rather than general operating support. Additional information including an online application can be found on the Web site.
