The Maurer Family Foundation

Category: Arts & Culture

This family Foundation, founded in 1996, seeks to provide financial help to organizations and institutions that have as a goal, enriching their communities and the lives of their patrons through programs of cultural value. This includes, but is not limited to, fine art, experimental art, applied and decorative art, film, television, music, literature, poetry, architecture, theatre, dance, opera, and folk traditions. Grants are awarded to programs designed to broaden access to the arts and those directed toward raising artistic standards. The Foundation prefers to support programs rather than facilities, buildings, or individuals. The Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals but does accept organizational summaries and objectives. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
