Description

Oncology on Canvas: Expressions of a Cancer Journey Art Competition and Exhibition is a program of the National Coalition of Cancer Survivorship and Eli Lilly and Company. The competition/exhibition was developed as a way to honor those who have been impacted by cancer. The program is open to everyone; they do not need to be professional artists. Participants should create and submit an original piece of art that depicts their cancer journey in one of the following media: watercolor, oil, pastel, photography, acrylic, or mixed media. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, a resident of the United States or Puerto Rico, and a person diagnosed with any type of cancer or a family member, friend, caregiver, or healthcare provider of a person diagnosed with cancer. Grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 will be donated to a cancer charity of the winner’s choice. Additional information including an application can be found on the Web site.
