For Kids Only
Category: Religion
DescriptionThe Organization’s grantmaking supports programs with specific faith-based components that focus on at-risk children ages 0 to 12. The programs should further the Organization’s mission, have specific measurable, spiritual, and academic outcomes, and serve as a model in their local community. At-risk children are defined as those at a disadvantage academically, economically, socially, and/or spiritually. The Organization considers a combination of those characteristics necessary for funding. Preference is given to programs that specifically outline academic and spiritual aspects; are focused on goals that clearly define a vision for the future and provide benchmarks for program growth; have a clearly defined budget, and if submitted by a church, must distinctly focus on community outreach. Additional information including religious tenets, can be found on the Web site.
