DescriptionThe objective behind the Foundation and the bank’s charitable contributions program is to strategically fund community and regional initiatives that will position the Foundation as an innovator of partnerships and as a grantmaker intent on helping to create and sustain healthy communities. The Bank has pledged 2 percent of its net profits annually to charitable contributions. Grantmaking is focused on the following categories; affordable housing, community economic development, education, and the environment. The Foundation does not fund capital campaigns or individual elementary or secondary schools. Organizations in California, Oregon, and Washington are eligible to apply.
