Fund For Teachers

Category

: Regional

Description

The Fund’s goal is to enrich the personal and professional growth of teachers by recognizing and supporting them as they identify and pursue opportunities around the globe. Pursuing these opportunities should impact teachers’ practices, the academic lives of their students, and their school communities. The Fund provides grants directly to teachers supporting their professional learning. Grants are awarded to teachers working with students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Teachers submit proposals detailing how their fellowship will make them a better teacher and how their improved skills are to be implemented in the classroom, benefit students, and improve curricula and their school.
The Fund offers individual grants of up to $5,000 each and team grants of up to $10,000. Additional information, including a list of eligible states, can be found on the Web site.
