DescriptionThe Academy’s institutional grants foster educational activities between the public and the film industry while encouraging the appreciation of motion pictures as both a vocation and an art form. Institutional grants are awarded to nonprofit film organizations and to film programs in schools, colleges, universities, and other institutions and nonprofits. Eligible programs and projects include craft workshops and conferences, internship programs, library and archival projects, screening programs, seminar programs, teacher training programs, training/bridge programs, and visiting artist programs. Requests must be for a concrete program. Information including descriptions of eligible programs and applications are available on the Web site.
