DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Quad/Graphics, a large printing Company. Founded in 1983, the Foundation focuses its grantmaking on organizations that meet a pressing, unfilled social need. Seed money is given with the confident expectation that the organization will fly on its own. Past grants have been awarded to hospices, women’s programs, art centers, libraries, playgrounds, parks, and arenas. The Foundation often chooses to fund programs and organizations in the communities in which the Company has a presence. Applicants are asked to send a letter summarizing the proposal.
