DescriptionThe Company, America’s largest auto retailer, sells new and used vehicles, parts and service. It gives back to the markets it serves through community outreach efforts geared to making the Company a good neighbor. Grantmaking focuses on local community efforts that address the health and welfare of the family with special emphasis on the education and safety of children. Four main areas of community outreach are charitable contributions, event sponsorship, volunteerism, and diversity efforts. Each market is responsible for its own outreach however, there is a corporate fund that can help address local needs. The Company’s giving is focused nationally with some emphasis on southern Florida where the headquarters are located. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
