Description

This family Foundation’s principal grantmaking focus is major capital campaigns of organizations headquartered and operating in the Seattle/King County area. Major areas of funding interest are private secondary and higher education, social services, and the arts. Given the current state of the economy, the Foundation will focus on emergency funding to address organizational operating shortfalls created during the economic downturn. Once the economy sufficiently recovers, the Foundation will resume its normal giving guidelines. Trustees meet quarterly around the 15th of the month following each calendar quarter. Eligible proposals must be received in the Foundation’s offices by the end of March, June, September, and December. The Foundation does not fund national or international organizations. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
