Description

The Foundation, named for the son of best-selling novelist, Danielle Steele, supports organizations involved in the diagnosis, research, treatment, and/or family support of manic-depression and other forms of mental illness, suicide prevention, child abuse, and children in jeopardy. It also provides assistance to struggling musicians in the areas of mental illness. The Foundation also considers proposals that address manic depression in children and young adults. There is no formal grant application. Proposals are reviewed four times a year and are accepted on a rolling basis. Additional information is available on the Web site.
