Description

The Foundation provides grants to organizations working to end companion animal cruelty, neglect, and overpopulation. This family Foundation is interested in supporting organizations with effective plans to reduce animal suffering through targeted spay/neuter programs as a way of addressing companion animal overpopulation. These types of projects will be given special consideration, particularly for larger grants. The Foundation also provides grants for adoption and/or education programs related to companion animals. New applicants should contact the Foundation with a brief project description. The Foundation also concentrates on providing grants to organizations that do not receive wide public support particularly small animal welfare organizations and programs working on behalf of companion animals with the potential to become model programs. An online application is available on the Web site. Deadlines are quarterly, March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. Organizations in Washington, Oregon, and California are eligible to apply.
